Process for Interpreters: Virtual/Telephonic Meeting

This process outlines the steps for interpreters joining a virtual or telephonic meeting.

  1. Meeting Join and Initial Assessment
  • Join the virtual or telephonic meeting at the scheduled time.
  • Upon joining, immediately check if the customer/client is present in the meeting.
  1. Handling Customer Absence
  • If the customer has not joined the meeting, immediately take the following action:
    • Contact us: Inform the scheduling team immediately by calling 817-289-0050 or emailing scheduling@lango.co.
    • Provide information: State the meeting ID, customer name, and confirm that the customer is not present.
  1. Remaining Online
  • Do not disconnect: After contacting us, remain online in the meeting for the entire duration of the scheduled meeting time.
  • Wait for instructions: The scheduling team will provide further instructions, which may include waiting for the customer to join or receiving a cancellation notice.
